Nice bike, really good build, why are you splitting it up? may I ask roughly what it went for in the end, I was half thinking of throwing an offer in on it myself

I have a very similar one (see my sig) but a few parts interest me.

well, the seller finally took my offer on the Ibis (I have talked to him on and off for MONTHS on this bike).

I will be parting the bike out. I will keep a few things, but not sure exactly what.

Maybe I should start a thread on it? Are there forum rules about asking for offers or do I have to state a price. Honestly I am not trying to get the highest price for everything but rather a fair price for me and the buyer.

Once you have priced everything, you can start a FS thread in the For Sale forum, since everything posted is supposed to be priced.

If only that Syncros Ti post was a 29.4
$3000 wasn't bad considering you can make half or better back in parts. Buying a bike whole when it has nice parts is always the best, though it might sting a bit up front. Good luck with the part out; nice pick up.

It must have been showing me a cached version---I looked twice and it said 3490. 3 isn't bad at all, especially after you get rid of those awful cranks ;)

considering it includes a hard travel case that I need as mine broke and a stand I think I did alright.

BTW the cranks are the one of the main reasons I bought it (even though I have 2 sets already).

The case is a very nice plus. What, you mean no one will take those awful cranks off your hands? Or are you just collecting spares for when they self-destruct? ;)

ultimately I'll probably sell them but will always have at least one extra set laying around. I'm not hard on parts and only weigh 150 pounds.
