just taken delivery of my new ringle wheel set this morning however the cassette is a 7 spd dura ace and there is a massive gap between the drop out and the first cog on the cassette - can i replace with a 8 or even 9spd cassette to fill the gap as the chain keeps falling into the gap!

any advice would be greatfully received

yes you should be able to do that .

normally if you run a 7 speed cassette on a 8 speed hub you need to use a spacer .

Just adjust your derailleur limit screws and the problem should disappear.
