Probably not what you were thinking this thread would be about, but Jonathan (The Green Rabbit) and I have been working together for the last few weeks, and I was wondering how many other people have found work through the glorious pages of Retrobike?

I found work through here.

I found work on here but also lost that same work too. I can also guess that the same RB member that got me that job no longer posts on RB as he is either:

A - banned buy said employer

B - a bit embarrassed by the whole thing. Dont be, its not your fault.

Thats the problem really isnt it. You are right though, nobodies fault!

Glad to hear the community spirit lives. When I was a nipper we all got our hands dirty with our friends, and there were no other jobs than for the boys, unless you went into the forces or such.

I have always tried to bring my friends in on whatever I had going, and it has generally worked out well.

I cannot really say I have found work on here, but one or two of my customers have very odd tattoos.
