Picked this one up a while back from a racer. In 97-98 Bianchi built the BOSS SS. First factory single speed. Each subsequent year they change the look and the name but it's always some variation on the X.X.S.S. theme. Carbon bits and tubeless tires bring this one in at 21.5 lbs. Fun to ride, roadie like weight that you can ride most anywhere...
Some may not appreciate the decals but they make me smile every time. Keeping them, though I do cover them up when riding in the neighborhood.
Anybody else have one of these? I see the later models in the line BASS, SASS, etc. but I don't see many of these.
If anyone spots an original ridged fork please let me know. The original owner sold the factory fork at some point after going with the White Brothers...
