Tell me more about this bike

Hi, am wondering if anyone can tell me more about my bike frame -make, model, year, etc. Happy to learn anything about it since I can't find any info on the internet.

They tended to be bought by club cyclists as no.2 training bikes or those with mudguard eyes were winter bikes

Lack of tubing decals suggests a re-spray, so it could be anything. Need a lugs and dropouts expert to come up with a brand. Agree - the geometry suggests winter bike, or general purpose higher-end sports bike, although bottom bracket height appears quite high from the pics, so might even be a custom build. I'd guess the SR Laprade pin is original, less sure about the chainset.

If I'm correct, they were made to look quality with nice lugs and forged dropouts, but the tubing was quite cheap. By putting your fingers in the bottom bracket, you could feel the seams of the seat and down tubes - yes, seamed tubing.
And I think it was a 26.4 seatpost
