hello all. build around a C'dale F900 frameset nearing completion.
will be posting when complete with full spec list & feedback.
problem with chainrings.
i've fitted 22/32/42 TA compact rings, which look the biz.
BUT
I whacked the granny on and fitted the crank only to find the granny and middle rings are too close to allow the chain (which is a 9spd HG93) free passage.
standard C'dale M300 'CODA' cranks, I think.
what have I done wrong? mounted it wrong? do i need spacers and longer bolts?
rest of groupset is 9spd XT M750.
also is it possible to overtighten the cable retention nut on a M750 front mech? mine seems to reach a certain point then go slack. think i might have beasted it.
