Technical help re rear derailleur hanger required

Evening all

On an evening ride last week I suffered a snapped chain which has led to bent mech hanger. I have tried to straighten it, and think I have succeeded, but I have damged the threads on the hanger. WHAT CAN I DO?????

It is a fixed hanger, before anyone suggests replacing it.

If it helps, the bike is a 94 Cinder Cone.

BETD do a bolt called a frame saver bolt .

Yes BETD , you slot the bolt from the inside of the frame and the rear mech screws in it .

they are an english based engineering company. you will need to enlarge the stripped dropout slightly with a round file or drill and then bolt the mech to a threaded insert that has spanner flats to stop it spinning.
