Regarding the toe clips, what size shoe are you? This will determine the length you need as they generally come in short, medium and long.
You also need to bear in mind that large clunky shoes don't work very well with old skool steel toeclips. The chunkier plastic MTB type often will though.
I would say Small to Medium. If you're not using 'proper' old style cycling shoes then Medium probably best. I have some available (steel and plastic versions) in my 'stock'. Not perfect but quite usable. Interested? You'll also need toestraps. Leather ones can still be found but the more modern nylon ones are OK and probably more readily available.
What's wrong With Cineli cork tape in yellow. Deda also do cork tape in yellow. Plenty of choices. Extra U.K have there own brand of gear which includes toe clips. Cheaper than MKS ones too.
