Syncros Powerlite fork. Threaded 1 1/8" steerer, between 125-130mm long. Top and bottom decals are on, but a little scratched up. It includes the top caps for the legs, although they are damaged from removing them. There is some surface rust inside the steerer and legs. There are a couple of small flat spots on two of the threads. The thread damage does not appear too difficult to fix. The legs are not dented, dinged, or deeply scratched. Damage is superficial only. The paint is bubbling in places, and there is unremoved decal adhesive, giving the surface in those areas a bumpy appearance. A respray and new decals would bring these beautiful old forks back to their former glory. Decals are available on eBay or from retrobike.co.uk members. A simple search of the site will find the right contacts.
A previous owner had threaded bosses brazed on, probably for racks. The dropouts are also threaded on the sides, again probably for racks. Or perhaps these features are original, I cannot say. The work very is well done. Every thing is very symmetrical and clean. The bosses could easily be ground or brazed off if they are not desirable.
I am not the original owner of this fork. I found it at a second hand bicycle dealer. I have no idea about it's previous use or conditions of storage. It is sold as is, with no refund.
I will ask one hundred and fifty dollars Canadian(about 75 Pounds) for it only because I am required to post a price, but I will consider any serious offers. Shipping is extra. It is currently located in Canada.
If it does not sell here VERY shortly it will go up on Ebay.
I will also consider trading it for a Brodie Gatorblade fork, either complete or partial. I am paticularly after the dropouts and crown. Even damaged assemblies will be considered.[/b]
