Syncros Forks

Hello there,
I have just purchased some syncros frankenforks (as jez calls them!) with syncros legs and a unknown crown (poss rock shox rs1), see below.

(hope you don't mind me using your photo steve!) I was wondering if anyone knows if these rs1 crowns were avaliable with a 1 1/8th steerer because i have changed my mind about what to put them on. Obviously ideally i would like to find a syncros crown and steerer but i won't be holding my breath! Alternatively will any other crowns fit these? any suggestions? I intend to get the legs resprayed and new decals too.

Bontrager, rs mag 20/21/30 would all fit but would all result in the wrong drop out spacing due to the fact that the syncros legs are offset to the outside edge, whereas the others are centrally offset.

Thanks mate, the dropouts are slightly too wide with the current crown but i have tried a wheel in them and tightening them down with a qr seems to be ok................. is this a bad move?!
