I am rebuilding my 1994 Rafty Funnel. When I bought it, it came with a pretty decent Marzocchi Z3 fork. In the new build up I will replace this fork. My Raleigh still has the SR Suntour fork, which really is a drama. As it needs a 1" steerer about 20cm long, I like to swap the Marzocchi for something similar in quality and state, but with a 1" long steerer.
About the Z3. It has a 1 1/8" steerer about 16.8cm long. I t looks like it was a threaded version were the thread was sawed off. I would say it is in really nice condition, but of course not new. Even the decals are not too bad. I have to admit that I don't know much about the function, as I only drove it for 100m after I bought it and then took the bike apart. I think the pictures say a lot. I prefer a swap with closed wallets (except for the transport), but let's just see.
