Hi, I bought this recently but its not really for me so I need to move it on.
The original rear shock was well past its best so it now has a Fox shock on and the choice of either the original spring or the one that came with the Fox which is currently fitted. The Fox shock is actually 10mm short for the frame but seems to make no difference to the geometry, or ride.
The Manitou Sx forks are nice and smooth and the rebound damping adjuster is working ok but the preload adjusters seem to be stuck, not had chance to investigate the problem myself. They also have microlube ports on each leg.
The 6061 front end of the frame is in reasonable condition and should polish up nicely. The steel swingarm has at some point been stripped and does need either polishing and laquering or painting.
Nice smooth headset included, bb is not the correct size so I will remove and bin it unless you want it.
Seatpost and clamp also included in the price.
Stem, bars wheels and front mech not included.
Size is 17.5" CtC and 19" CtT
I would like £70.00 collected for this but will listen to offers.
Now also interested in swaps for a ladies Mtb/Hybrid.
Prefer not to post but will if necessary at cost but it may take a while as I would need to get to the LBS for a box etc.
