Swan Neck Cap Missing

Hi guys and girls

I'm really happy with my new-ish retrobike!

I did notice on purchase that there looks like there might be a cap missing off the swan neck..

Picture below, hopefully someone might be able to help :)

Depends a bit on the brand of stem could either be a missing blank cap or it"s fitted with incorrect allen head securing bolt what brand of stem is it? & are there any fine threads in the top of the hole.

I think you could be right, I think there's a bolt missing! It does sound a little loose! Any idea of size or anything? :)

The Quill bolt for holding the stem is usually between 4&6inches long dependent on the stem length ( the part that fits in the fork column) the head takes an M6 allen key & the thread on the other end is usually M6
