Beautiful 1980s Reynolds 531d/b single marathon frame, 56cm seat tubes front and rear, finished in pearl white with silver graphics. 48 spoke wheels, Specialized hubs, Arai drum brake on rear. Stronglight triple cross-over drive chainset, bar-end gear controls. Cinelli b/s front. Shimano cantilever brakes.
This tandem has been well-loved, carefully maintained, and is in excellent condition. Full spec and further photographs available on request.
Included in the sale is a 'Mirit' roof-rack carrier custom made for this tandem. This permits the tandem to be carried on a car roofrack in a stable, horizontal position. The tandem need be lifted only a few inches off the ground before being swung upwards and slid into place on the car roof.
