Does anyone have a link to fitting instructions for these please?they are the version which just band on close to the bar.Cycle jumble bargains that seem very lightly used.
Thanks
Now got em on all my bikes.Simply band them on as close as you can get them above your brake levers on the inner side of the bars. You can move the lever position in relation to the clamp by slackening the lever off and turning the back plate although you will find that there is only one position that really works anyway. The shorter alloy lever version works with the levers sloping downwards as against the resin lever type that slope upward. You can run seven speed on the six speed version by using the first six speeds on index then using the mech back stop screw to give the last index point. I run eight speed on my sevens in the same way. I suggest you dont wrap the cable outer under the bar tape as it tends to restrict gear changing. They may look awkward with the cables running free under the bars but they really dont get in the way in use. Yup they are rare. Its taken me over three years to fit four bikes up by scanning e bay. You can get them from the states but you are looking around £200 a pair.E bay can be from thirty pounds to around eighty. The ultra rare eight speed version( only seen two pairs on the bay) go for around the £180 mark so if you didnt pay a lot you have got a bargain.I think they are far and away superior to sti units. Totally ergonomic and the reliability of a down tube shifter. You may well find some instructions on google.Let us know how you get on with them. mail me if you get totally stuck and I will try and help

Would anyone be interested in Suntour Commands indexed for Shimano 10 speed? I have modified Suntour Commands work perfectly with Shimano 10 speed rear indexing, and conversion kit for existing 6/7/8 speed Command levers.
