Sunn cross un '99

Next project til I get bored of it lol. Just slapped some forks and wheels in for a quick look see, wiill find some shorter forks as these look a tad long.


Have got a mix of xt bits to go on it all mainly older xt m737/9 which is some of the nicest in my eyes.

After searching around for some nice rigid forks for this found some onza tuff guy trials forks on ebay that I won, as they were fairly local went to pick them up. They were a silver and a bit tatty so decided to refresh them in the finest rattle can black. Have come out better than hoped, and I hoped for an excellent job. Shame abut the disc tab but decided against removing it. Found a bargain god headset on e bay for a tenner, sealed bearing split race cantt complain about it at all.

yes way better fork than previous *thumbs up* colors on the 99 sunn bikes are the coolest

The dark bluey/black is very worn on the frame thinking of re-doing that bit in black?

Well im on the home straight with this one now. Just waiting on last few bits n bobs. Saddle will be changed for some thing a bit more fitting colour wise.

This is shaping up very nicely .

Seems like a good place to flag up this Sunn which I've been following on eBay. As much as I would like to buy it, I already have too many ongoing projects and not enough space, so I'm hoping that someone here will do the right thing and take away the temptation .

Well nearly finished a few bits n bobs to change but in a more than rideable state.

Right few changes now has gears, different wheels and saddle and im loving it. Pretty much all xt now apart from front v and brake levers. Cables have been tidied up since piccy.

been a while since this had an update. A few nice changes now sporting some echo hydraulic rim brakes (french maguras basicly), thomson stem, easton ea70 riser bars, betd boosters (others on the way), odi ruffian grips and just been delivered mosso rigid forks. Have really fallen for this one not much left that i want/need to change now.
