Sunbeam (Tourist T1 1949?)

Thanks THM and from the pics, yours has aged well. Mine originally looked fit for the scrap heap but thankfully, the frame and fork tubes had not rusted as badly as it looked on the surface. Here are some finished pics with a chain and cables. She rides nice and smoothly and weight is a respectable 12.5kg around 27lbs with a set of heavy and cheap cranks attached. With some lighter components, it could shed a kilo or two. I am presenting it later today to my father - in-law as a birthday surprise. He is 86 and I believe he got it as a birthday present on his 13th birthday!! The frame number apparently dates it as a BSA made Sunbeam between 1943 and 1947.
