Looking for a light disc-frame to build up as a project.

Needs to be 19 inch frame. Can be an older 26er or a newer frame if price is right.

Looking for something like an older Scott scale 10 or ltd, Cannondale flash himod.

I have this in 18.5 inch. It’s very light but probably not under 1100 grams. Doubt it’s too far off. I can weigh if of any interest?

Yes please weigh the frame. I think given it's an older alloy one, it may be well over the mark but interesting to see! Thanks

I think the only 26" wheeled frame that is in your weight and size ballpark will be one of the Giant MCM frames. There were different versions but one was uber light. Aluminium choices are going to be around 1400-1500( like that Steinbach from a fee weeks ago) and steel will be around 1500 like a Speed, or something like that.

There are more options out there. To go light I will need carbon so updated the thread title.

My Cannondale flash frames have all been under 970g (even 29er) and the older Scott scales (26inch) are just over 1000g and there are a few other options too. I've got my eyes on eBay etc but best to widen my choices here too!

I'm not sure where I am going with the build. Just fancy putting some dosh into something light. Hoping to be under 8kg when all done.

My MCM was more than 1500g from memory, more like 1700g.

My 19” Kula Supreme from 2007 is ~1250g from memory.
