STX-RC Question

Did STX-RC ever have a pair of canti brake levers in their line up, not the combo lever/shifter type?

I thought they were adjustable pull for v or canti.

They where adjustable for vbrake modulation, same as modern day ones are (even up to XTR)

If it suits you on canti's then that's fine.

They're horrible levers anyway.
Talking of the M600 and similar.

There where earlier canti's levers. They where not separates iirc like all the other Shimano levers of that era.

They only separated again as Vbrake levers.

You can do lot of things and may get used to feel of it. But these were meant for V brakes.

As Fluffychicken says; Shimano never did a separate canti specific STX or STX-RC brake lever.

Thanks for the info, I have a virtually complete STX-RC groupset but am using tektro levers (old SS7 types ones I believe), but with 8 speed pods - So I suppose older STX-RC and newer version.
