I'm in the process of doing some mild upgrading to my recently acquired 1994 Dyna Tech: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=292714. I'm selling a few of the parts that will be making way for slightly more modern ones. The parts are all in good condition as the bike has only been lightly used and well looked after. Just the wheels and Canti hanger left now, though the seatpost will be coming up once I get a replacement.

Wheels: Shimano STX hubs with Bontrager BC3 rims. The rear hub is for 7-speed cassette only (not included). Considering their age the wheels are in very good condition - they have been well looked after on an occasional commuter bike. They spin nicely and are very true (the tinest of movements may be detectable) and the rims have a lot of life left in the braking surfaces (not concave). The tension in a few spokes seems a little loose so a tuning with a spoke key might be beneficial, but I'm not an expert on that. They are both quick release wheels though the handle on the rear skewer developed a fault in the mechanism so I had to throw that one - the front is included though. I can include the pair of Michelin Extra Traction 2.0" tyres (not original spec I don't think, but look pretty old) with working tubes for an extra £10. The tyres are perfectly usable though the rubber and sidewalls are showing their age, but the tread is not worn and is actually very deep. Can't post these, so £30 collected (£40 with tyres included), from Hampshire (near Winchester).

Canti hanger, for 1&1/8 threadless headset, black. £3.50 posted[/list]

F&R Canti brakes: STX, black model. With original mounting bolts and straddle wires. £12 posted SOLD

  • Saddle: Selle Royal with Raleigh logo. Made in Italy, production date June 1993. Awesome condition with no tears or significant scuffs! Kind of snakeskin effect. £22 posted SOLD

    More pics shortly.

Re: Parts from a '94 Dyna Tech: Saddle, STX wheels, Cantis

To keep things transparent following PMs, first refusal on the saddle goes to fitzroybikeco and on the wheels to thosewerethedays, pending further photos and description of condition once I get back to the bike in the next 24-48 hours. Happy to put others in line behind them in the meantime.
