Cream carpet. What was I thinking?

I put ceramic tiles down in the kitchen and hallway, as the swarf stuck into the soles of my footwear, chewed the carpet up no end, that and the oil staining.

Ive gone for "institutional green" carpet at the moment....

The best i ever had was an axminster red floral, lasted years and never showed the rust, oil, grease, dirt etc.

Must look for some more.

The glass thing was all the rage in the 50's and 70's, not one that I followed. It was a mess waiting to happen, especially after the winter's damp had seized them up.

A mate of my big bro had these in his work shop . I was tempted to chuck pebbles at them . Note no jars were ever hurt .
