Cool! I had a thing for Specialized bikes when i was a kid... It's taken me 20 years to become an owner of one!!!

Is that a telescopic seatpost? how does it feel? I get the feeling they'd be very flexible... :?

It's a U.S.E suspension post and not that flexy even though I weigh in at 220Lbs. Still have the rigid forks for this living happily in a box in the workshop for that just in case I want to sell it moment of madness. Currently has slicks on it but bought a proper road training bike that I don't use instead.

always liked that Specialized Stumpjumpers. Yours looks really

one remark: those SIDs are known to be very flexy - try out the rigid fork - I guess it will transform the whole ride

I have the Specialized Stout hub and oversize QR that helps a bit with flex. Not a huge fan of fully rigid off-road as I have had a previous shoulder op that prefers front suss.
