As a mountain bike only rider for some years, i have no idea on roadie stuff from the past.

In my clear out i found these......no idea why i have them or whence they came!

They weigh in at 433g....not even sure if thats good or bad for road bike kit!

Any idea what they are worth.....if they have a value i will stick them in the box to go off for cerakote....if not.......ummmmm......dont know.

Cheers guys.

Never had a pair of these, they look nice and I think are reasonably light, however a slight word of warning I had some stronglight cranks of this vintage and they were extremely fragile......

Cheers.

Any body got an idea value? £5, £10, £100?.....scrap weight?

They are 130bcd btw.

The only ref is that a few sets sold on here a number of years ago for £40 or £65 . Bit that was many years ago.

I would say about £25-30 based on the condition and the fact they aren't a triple chainset. I think that was what paid for mine, which were in much better condition, but I do think I got a bargain.

Interestingly, I have my set on my Karakoram Elite, on which I have previously snapped an FRM spider and a Topline crank arm, but so far they have survived and feel more sturdy ... (tempting fate here).

I'd be interested if they are going cheap although I don't have a project for them 😬

I will put them in for cerakote. So they will basically be good as new, as it looks like its worth while.

Cheers guys
