Stripping Manitou three legs ??, pic

Trying to get the back end stripped on this FS, mainly just to
clean out a load of crud in there and re-grease it all, got as far
as getting the allen bolts out (with the orange rebound bumpers on)
but can't get the stanchions out, will only pull out as far as in the pic, is
there something else other than the allen bolt holding them in ?

you`ll need to remove the seals and retaining ring as well , before they will come out

Ah, right, are the seals easy to get out without damaging them ?

Hope to run fork boots on the rear due to the wear already on the
stanctions so may be able to run without the dust seals anyway.

once the metal clip is out they will just pop out with the stantions

Sorry to be a pain but i cant see any clip at all :? , when you first posted i imagined the clip to be under the dust seal.

Where's the clip and how do i get to it ?, is it a circlip ?
