Just had the best phonecall I've ever had from the police - they've found my car! It's been hotwired and is missing the passenger side door lock so I need a new lock and ignition barrell, but they're only about £50 on ebay.

It was so low on petrol that it never made it out of Edinburgh, just as well I'm a tight bugger and didn't fill it up last time out!

That's great news rumble, you coming tomorrow night to celebrate? Insurance should pay for the fix, let them as you have already claimed by phoning them. Get the steerer checked too, they usually snap the steering lock when they are hotwired (if it has one)

Went up to the police station to take a look tonight - I'm leaving it there more the moment as it's open and can be started with a screwdriver. Put a clamp on a wheel and it's got a police station CCTV camera staring right at it - hopefully that should keep it safe. Not much missing from inside really and the damage is limited to what they did to get in and get it started:
