I have the chance to save a pre war step through hercules bike from the scrap.
Is it worth it?.
It's complete but in rag order.

I found this bike about 9 years ago and rescued it from a London Underground drainage pit that was being filled in.
I rode it a short distance with flat tyres and a seized pedal., but now it appears it's destined for a scap yard.
I haven't the inclination or space to restore it myself but if it's worth saving I can grab it, otherwise I'll let it go.
It's complete but the tyres and tubes have perrished off the rims and the rims aren't far behind, the frame seems in reasonable nick and although a lot of re chroming is needed the brake parts look salvagable.
Any thoughts?
