Steel frame 18"/19" similar to Rockhopper 97

Hi,

I am trying to do a build for a friend, she wants a 18 or 19 inch steel frame similar to my 1997 rockhopper. Doesn't matter too much about paintwork or whether it actually is a rockhopper, so long as it is a steel frame and forks, no sus, threadless 1 1/8th forks and has rack mounts. Her plan is to respray but I'm sure I can talk her out of it!

i have a 19" 98 rockhopper frame (ritchey nitanium one) doing nothing. in fact i think i still have most of the whole bike. i def have the forks but i trashed teh wheels and prob scavenged the gears. ill drop you a pm

but if that stumpy above is a good fit i would go for that

Hi,

Just measured it

seat tube is 18" c - t
top tube 22.5 c - c

If it helps I'm just over 6ft and I'm happy riding it, although it is a little cramped.

Noticed you are doing a build for a friend - the bike has a set of rack mounts on the rear and I have most of the components e.g. XT wheelsset, v -brakes , drive train, stem + bars if you are interested in any or all of those as well.
