Steam Cleaning

Today I have mostly be playing with my Vax steam cleaner. It's great. Got the bathroom nice and shiny. Then I started thinking (which is dangerous).

It's absolutelyflippingbrilliant and cleaning deep down muck from Ringlè bottle cages. I have 2 silver cages which look sort of grubby. But no longer. XTR rear mechs, v brakes, Pace frames all come up a treat. Think I might be going OCD with the cleaning though, it is sort of addictive.

I was pretty careful near decals and stickers, and bearings. But not to worry everything is being cleaned out and relubed. Pics, sorry too engrossed. The brushed finish on the Ringlè cages came up the best. Was also really good at shifting crud out of cable mounts and inside rear mech body. Tomorrow wheels and rear cassette get done.

Then monster relube session and wait for a few new parts to arrive. Then a rebuild, when I have the house to myself. Tom Waits albums and some good gin should help the process.

Should have been about £60, but I had a voucher for £50 off from argos. So a tenner or so.
