Startrac Spinner Pro 6800 Spin Bike - £210 open to offers
Spin bike for sale. Excellent working order – used condition. Bought last year but haven’t used it enough.
The Good
Very solid and heavy (50kg total, 20kg flywheel). Much better than the cheap bikes on ebay that are only designed for home use.
Fully adjustable everything!
Brand new flywheel bearings and axel
Brand new Startrac saddle
Brand new pedal straps
Excellent running order
Plenty leather left on brake
Excellent condition handlebars
The Bad
Pedal clip mechanism isn’t working and couldn’t get the pedals or cranks off so please note that if you want to change the pedals you might need a little work. The pedals work great as flats and the toe clips and straps are excellent. Bottom bracket runs smooth but might need a little work if you want to try and get the cranks off. (admittedly I didn’t try that hard to get them off as I was happy to ride with toe clips).
The Ugly (surely ugly is a matter of preference!)
Rattle can matt black finish. It’s not perfect as to be honest it has some runs and streaks (I’m class I know!) but tidies it up a lot and look fine. The silver paint was very tired hence the makeover. Decals also tired so off they came.
Bottom line is it’s a bloody expensive commercial spin bike for not a lot of money and it runs great. If you wanted it perfect then a small investment of time and sweat and you could strip and repaint and remove and replace pedals then it would be showroom mint!
