Who got it?I don't think it was necessarily all that cheap, considering it was collect from Dorset. Collect is always liable to take a third off the realisable value, and Dorset isn't exactly central. A mail order auction might have raised 250, take a third off that and you're not far above 150. The best condition 1990 Explosif I ever saw on eBay failed to make its reserve with a high bid of 145, and I don't think that owner tried again.
The funny thing about 1990 Explosifs is that those Track Two forks were supposed to be suspect and were subject to a product recall. And yet you hardly ever see a 1990 Explosif that hasn't got its Track Twos still going strong. Can't have been much wrong with them then. Maybe just one duff batch?

The 1990 Track Two was perfectly fine. It was only the 1991 Track Two with the forged crown that was recalled due to suspected problems with the forging process... which is why you will have trouble finding a 1991 Explosif/Hot/Hei Hei with Track Two's as most people will have returned them for black P2 replacements.Anthony":2rfl5863 said:
