I have a pair of Specialized tyres that have basically been sat since the 90s, only having been trial fitted but not ridden on.
They have stood up to the test of time pretty well but the sidewalls seem to be slightly hard, one side of the amberwall on each tyre is really good but the side with the logos on each tyre is worse and are perished and peeling.
The tyres are team control 26x2.0 front and master control 26x1.9 rear.
The treads are amazing still with the bobbles on and the tyres aren't cracked either.
Hopefully someone can make use of them for something whether it be a bike hanging from a wall or whatever really!
The last picture shows the sidewall, this is the worst one pictured with lots of strands of the amber peeling away, the other tyre is nowhere near as bad but is doing it a little bit. Like said, the other sides of the amberwall are really good.
