Hello,

for sale my Specy M2 " S'Works " frame,

it's a '91 frame as stated from the serial number : 91T01297

frame has paint chips ( it's a common problem for the painting of early M2 MetalMatrix frames ... ) and sign of chainsucks ... for sure that lovely frame has been used for a long time but it's 100% free from cracks or dings then it could be a good starting point for a nice restoration project or simply a nice bike to ride

frame measures :
- seat tube : c/c 430mm - c/t 475mm
- top tube : 565mm
- headtube (1") : 110mm

price for the bare frame : 120€ + shipping rate

extra for the Suntour Grease Guard BB - 73mm BB shell - ( I bougth it aside from the frame and it's in excellent condition ) : + 45€

XT headset cups shown on the photos are not included ( I will remove them from the headtube )

for any additional information feel free to ask me

Thank you

It's a 92 model, made in 91. 1991 models were polished

Presumably you're referring to the 'Stumpjumper M2 Team' from '91 - those models were actually 'platinum' if we're being picky - they're painted not polished.

There was a second M2 in '91 - the base one, simply called 'Stumpjumper M2' and painted in a purple colour.

More telling though is that the '91 frames weren't 'S-Works' as the line wasn't set up then as such, and the decals were simply 'Stumpjumper M2' on the downtube .

This frame is the 'base' M2 model for '92 year - simply called the 'S-Works M2' and painted in black. Above it were the 'Pro' and the 'Team' in a kinda purple colour, and flat red for the top model respectively.

Just to be pedantic... ;)
