Rare and beautiful 1998 Specialized Stumpjumper in size 18" measured centre to top with a 22 1/2" top tube. Built from Ritchey Nitanium Pro Logic steel tubes with Ritchey cast investment dropouts. Fabulous frame in pretty damn good condition ~ there are some marks in the golden paintwork, but nothing drastic and no significant dings or dents. I've owned this bike for three years and loved it, but the garage is full and something needs to give!
The rest of the build is; Manitou SX forks, original wheels with LX rear and Specialized own brand sealed bearing front, both with Mavic rims. LX 8 speeds shifters with XT front and rear mechs. Specialized Strongarm chainset with XT bottom bracket. Avid V brakes and levers. Gold Answer Pro Taper riser bars. WTB grips. Original saddle with a suspension post. The seat tube is shimmed down from the original and odd 30.4 to the common 27.2, so it's easy to fit any post you like.
Everything on the bike is in good condition, full working order and ready to roll if you want to ~ or to custom build to your own tastes and requirements.
