Specialized Rockhopper

Hi Guys

Saved this from the tip today, for massive investment of £7. She needs a bit of love and affection.

She has the original tyres, wheels, pedals, crank set.

My plan is to strip and clean the frame new cables, and gears keeping them as they all work, repaint the handle bars black, new brake pads, and re-cable the brakes, but again they currently working. New tubes and tyres, will be sticking with my favourite Continental MountainKing tyres. Hunt for a saddle and seat post (which i think i have some where)



But looking forward to takening her for a run soon.

No they are shot, cord hanging out, splitting and getting splitting on the edges.

I will confirm, they are properly shot tomorrow when i do a clean and strip down.

The front might be ok.

I SS one one of these a couple of months ago, love it.
I will be gearing it though as I have a Rockhopper Comp now that will take care of SS duties.

this cheeky lot of cheap bits turned up, they aren't premium parts like some of the builds (but have choosen bits with great reviews) but trying to keep this build fun

Again cheap tubes and grips, she will be rolling this week, may be her first trip to the pub.
