PM replied to,
cityslicker, not sure what your rolling eyes mean?

Ah just the man, could we talk in weight please,
i am interested to know how much these baba's are holding in the g's department please

weight

Hi city slicker
They weigh 1193 grams with the 1 1/8th steerer 8)
Not too shabby for 1994, they weigh less than my 1994 specialized rigid direct drives.

Jamie

Can the steerers be changed on these?

1" is good, but I'm ideally after threaded...

Could I switch the steerer from a pair of Rock Shox or earlier Spesh forks, or do I need to change the whole crown assembly?

Any ideas?

BB.

I'm not fussed about the weight, but what length is the 1 1/8 steerer? :lol:

{Pm sent and gets in line behind AtomicAtom}

Any RockShox of the same series (MAG I presume these are based on) would fit, as would Spesh similar series one's, not the JUDY based one's.

I have to assume the steerer tube here are Alu. Threaded are Steel and would be a bit heavier (I can way them if you want). I think it's about 0.15lb for a similar 'usable' length threaded is shorter.
