Rode Bedgebury with Hilts and Ed a few of weeks ago, as nicely pictured on the front page. Due to a couple of things (mostly being round the other side of the world) didn't get round to properly cleaning and checking the bike until today. The damage includes a seized hub and freewheel. wtf. Have you chaps got special mud down in the south east

Indeed JV we have special clay based attack mud which will erode the very core of your bike...

I just went to the home page and saw this

Bedgebury has gone down market a bit!

how are the trails Hilts ? planning on a day ride during school holidays .

well I've not been for a few weeks and we've had a fair bit of rain since then but it wasn't too bad. There are parts that are horrendously muddy, to the extent you can barely pedal through them, but in an hour or so it takes to do the lap it's only a couple of times you may have to get off. It is the fire roads and not the single track that really suffers so it doesn't really spoil the enjoyment too much...
