As above for this. Nothing pricey. The steel/chrome ones on it are a bit ropey so a nice modest set of mavics would be lovely.

I've got a few.

I have a set of Campag on tub Mavic brown GL or GP somthing rims just awaiting a back axle (vittoria tubs are about £15 each)

Theres a silver set of Miche on Mavic green/ Yellow label MA something floating around somewhere too

But it is cold out there...

I'll go and have a nose. The MA are normal tyres.

*right! Miche Competition hubs on Mavic MA-2. Not bad condition, need a clean and theres a 5spd freewheel of indeterminate quality with nice loud clicky pawls

I think after a spruce, they'd be £42 posted - pics once I've sorted them out and made sure they're safe/ usable.

Man flu here so a day off fettling in the kitchen tomorrow walked the dogs and came back like a damp tissue.

The hub is designed for 6 or even a 7 spd freehub - getting the old one off will be the fun bit - I'll leave that to you.

These are the hubs, they have little grease ports too. Pretty high quality.
