A new road bike will probably cost you a grand or so. It'll also probably weight almost 30 pounds.

If I spent "a grand or so" on a road bike, I'd be very dissapointed if it weighed 30 pounds.
 
i would have trouble getting it to 30 pounds on purpose let alone buy a grands worth of girder :shock:
 
I had the VISA out then I saw the STEEL casette and ALUMINUM chainrings. I'm calling today to see if I can get these fitted.
