Right then, this is a bit of an oddball item.
Sold as spares or repair, or a collectors wall hanging item.
125mm travel
Carbon uppers
36mm stantions
20mm Axle
Dual IS disc mounts
I don't know the make, or model, and can't find any info about the fork anywhere.
There have been suggestions that it is made by SASO, or bombshell, but no one can confirm for sure.
(this is purely from the topcaps, and the axle\disc mounts)
I bought it with the intention of using it as a chassi for a fork project.
The internals are self contained units and all thread directly into the top of the stantions.
BUT... kids and family life have thrown that idea out the window and they've been sat for the best part of a year now in the shed.
Soo... I'm sure someone on here might want to pick up for a challenge or collectors ornament.
£60 + postage.
The good:
Excellent external condition (some small storage scratches to laquer, and minor marks to topcap bolts)
MINT 36mm stantions, ultra stiff.
Functioning damper, and smooth action.
Dual IS disc mounts.
Carbon fork guards, and uppers
Uncut steerer, and never fitted.
The bad:
Damper adjustment is crude single knob comp & rebound in 1.
The damper has lost its nitro charge.
The spring pre-load adjustment doesn't work.
Can't confirm anything about the fork.
They weigh in @ about 3kg.
