Interested in swaps? I have a Cannondale Saeco caad3 with carbon Time forks, D.A headset, seat pin binder and replaceable mech hanger. At 56 mm CTC it's too big for me.

Thanks but I already have a CAAD3 Saeco and yours is too big for me. Is this frame your sort of size?

Those Time forks would be nice with this; I used a pair of Look. It's a different ride to my Cannodale.

Just been out to the cave - the head tube is 162mm so I would need to either :
A] Find someone to tap the thread down the steerer tube.

B] Shorten the steerer tube and convert it to a 1" ahead, [has anyone done this]?

Oh! I've had another senior moment, the fork is Time not Look.

It's Time on our Saeco Cannondales correct but I used a Look on the Scandium. You can tap the thread down on your fork and I reckon that's a better solution to ahead, which I don't much care for in general. But you could use the non thread part of the steerer as an ahead but you'd have to cut off the threaded part and install a star fangled nut. Would it be long enough though for that ?
