SOLD- please remove Klein pinnacle elite frame 1989 £80

Hi guys,

i have three unbuilt klein frames in varing stages or work and an number of other projects. So this one must go.

It s a 22" frame from 89. i bought it from a member fo this sitea while back.

conditions is not great. it have bubbled paint. took some of the see if the frame is solid which it is. there was the classic crack itn he seat tube which I had welded by specialist (marine and general, they weld alloy for planes and fast ferries and racing yatchs) heat treated and aged cost me £50 to do. Also the bottle mounts are either stuck or spin. structurally its solid. it comes with a bottom bracket axle, and some bearings (new if they come in time).

would make a good project for some one who can paint or strip. maybe some one who need to do a colour match for backfire?I may be able to find a headset as well. it needs a good home.

And when you say it's a 22" frame, what's the c-c measurement? 22"? :shock:

I bought one of these recently for a bit more than you are asking, but could also be interested in this too pending confirmation of the c2c of the seat tube, and a pic of the weld repair if you have one.

yep tis a 22" c-t is 56cm and a c-c top tube of 57.6cm.

27.2 seat post
135mm rear end
1" headset

the weld still need a little sanding, i made a start but got bored. soz:

Too big for me too I'm afraid, but I think it is a bargain for someone.

If it helps, jonrock could respray this for about £300 I believe, and I also think that you could get it done for a similar price at Argos or another of the bigger names.

Nice repair, may need to do that myself at some point to one of mine. Are the people who did yours still in business?

i would prefer cash but i would swap for m730 shimano xt cranks or other parts.

as for the welding you can get it at most marine or aero welders in the uk. ( im in guernsey)Let me know what your are needs done and i can look up the spec. so you know specifically what you need to do.
