Retro Newbie
I bought this bike with the view of rebuilding it with modern components. What I didn't realise was the condition of everything on the bike, it runs like new and I just don't have the heart to pull it to bits. I was after a project but I need something a bit more unloved!

Everything works great and I've taken loads of pics to show the condition. The only bad thing on the bike is the bars, the original owner said it came with straight titanium bars which he couldn't find as he'd replaced them years ago with the awful risers you can see in the pics.

It rides great and if I had room for another non project bike in the garage then I wouldn't even think of selling. I'm happy to post anywhere at buyers expense (I can get a box from LBS so just the postage).

I think it's worth £200 all day long but there's room to haggle! Will probably put it on ebay but when I bought it I got a load of info on it from this site so I thought I'd try here first. Hope I've put the photos on right 20211023_154340.jpg 20211023_154350.jpg 20211023_154358.jpg 20211023_154408.jpg 20211023_154416.jpg 20211023_154434.jpg 20211023_154444.jpg 20211023_154453.jpg 20211023_154535.jpg 20211023_154555.jpg Thanks.

Love this - bought one new in 1997 which was stolen (mine has white RS Indy S forks) - also bought one again several years ago which I built up and gave to a friend who cherishes it. Good luck with the sale.

It's going on ebay today for £150 with £30 postage or pick up. I've got to get rid of it before I fall for it and it becomes another bike I can't sell.

Yes, it got shipped down to Cornwall (Middlesbrough to Cornwall for £30!). Regretted selling it almost instantly. Now desperately looking for a steel frame as good as that one to build and keep.

Ha! Not surprised, really nice bike. Incidentally what was the colour (original or refinished)?

Original gold/bronze paint, looked great in person. Still trawling facebook everyday to find something similar. Spotted a MTrax Ti 3000 but I had a Ti 1000 back in the 90s and it was more of a gimmick than an actual titanium frame. I'll pine after this one until I find the next project and forget all about it!
