For sale in excellent cosmetic and recently bled condition!

Some of you will know I am a massive fan of these brakes, but I have one set more than I need right now as I'm trying BB5s on the Surly cos it's got drop bars now!

Front and rear brakes in tip top condition, various rotors (160mm/180mm/203mm) with matching adaptors (mostly IS but some front PM too) for you to choose from, adaptor mounting bolts, instructions etc. (servicing tips!)

The only thing I'm short on is rotor bolts so eBay will be your friend there, but I will include a brand new set of spare Superstar pads to compensate (pads fitted are almost new anyway!)

Reply if interested... I'm looking for £75 posted

Will get photos and hose lengths up ASAP (ie in daylight).

Let me know what rotor sizes you're after and whether your forks are PM or IS and we can work something out.

as requested!

you'd just need rotor bolts

the IS adaptors are the brand new ones I was selling separately :D

the hoses are nice & long!

Are the levers ambidextrous? I run my rear brake on the right and wouldn't want to have to swap the lines over.

I picked up one of these brakes from Merlin which was sold as front but had a left hand lever, but works perfectly on the right and the shape is same both sides so no issues at all, as Dead Rats says. I think they're quite nice brakes.

indeed they are, I've had three sets of Strokers for my bikes and fitted a couple to those of my friends too... lovely lever shape (completely identical either way up) and rather nice bronzey colour.

The only real difference between these and the more expensive (and greyer!) Trail model is the dial adjuster on the latter's levers which premits on-the-fly reach adjustment (as opposed to having to use a small allen key on these) but that's no real hardship, same power / feel.

Almost minty condition too
