ALSO LISTED IN PRE 98 SECTION
Well, this has to be a record for me. I've only had the frame in my possession for a day!
I bought this frame from 'Wold Ranger' last week, and I have to admit that, as much as I've been hankering after one in this size, it was still very much an impulse buy, especially as I had originally contacted him about another frame which he had for sale
This is a 1996 GT Zaskar LE frame in MINT condition, with only a few chain marks and a little bit of cable rub. As you can see from the title, this is the hard to find 14.5" USA made version and I have been reliably informed that this was the only year that GT made the Zaskar in this particular size in the USA before moving production over to the far east. Obviously if I've been misinformed then please don't hesitate to tell me!
Either way, it's an absolutely stunning little frame and one which I would have been looking forward to getting built, had it not been for the fact that I really shouldn't have bought it in the first place, as I can't afford it.
Lesson - never let your heart rule your mind!
It will probably take me for ever and a day to get it built up, so rather than me looking at it sitting in my shed in its naked state for the next 12 months and gathering dust, I'd rather that it went to someone who can get it built up to be the amazing little bike that it should be.
I'm asking for £200 posted to UK. I paid £190 for it, so the extra £10 is to cover my postage costs.
For £200, you'll get the frame, seatclamp, chainstay protector, red Halo hex key skewers, red bottle cage bolts and a mint KORE Elite (Easton) seatpost which cost over £100 on it's own back in the day!
I will gladly send it anywhere in the World, but please contact me for a postage quote as it will be extra. I use www.parcel2go.com
Sorry, but I'm not going to move on the price as it's a good enough deal as it is! I'll keep it if it doesn't sell.
Thanks
