Lock Nut

Would you mind schooling me on this?

I have a 1" threadless King headset and recently obtained a Yo Eddy threaded fork.

Would this piece take the place of the upper bearing cover on my existing threadless unit.... thus making it a threaded headset?

If so (and if you will consider shipping to the States) I would be interested in purchasing it.

PS: Would I still require a lock nut?

you're correct. yes, you can use it to change from ahead to threaded
