edit: The disc has been identified as HED since I wrote this post.
Hello,
I've got a tubular disc wheel for sale, I'm guessing it's 700c, but I'm not
100% sure about it and don't know how to measure it. Also, I'm not quite
sure what material is it made of but it appears to be early carbon-fibre
(it's completely different to Campagnolo non-carbon disc wheel I've got).
There are a few dings and scratches on the surface, but seems/feels solid.
I can't find any marking of a manufacturer and/or model either. There are
carbon/kevlar valve hole covers on both sides of the wheel.
It has got a Regina 13-19 6-speed screw-on block and a Veloflex Criterium
tubular on it (old and unknown condition). I'm really not clued up on these
old wheels, but I think something is missing on the hub (as if there should
be something to finish off a non-drive side?) and it appears too narrow for
a modern bike's rear fork as it is.
Not everything is that bad though
- the braking surface seems very good
and I've tried spinning the wheel in my hands and it seems to run pretty true
(from what I could figure out from such a non-scientific test anyway) and it
seems to go on (spin) forever (which is its primary function I guess!).
All things said - I'm selling it as "spares or repair". If anyone clued-up knows
more about this wheel and what's missing/required etc - please let me know.
I've tried to show everything in the photos.
I'd like £125 + P&P (should be £25) for it.
Thanks for looking.
