For sale a vintage Carlton (Worksop, England) 56 cm Chrome frame made into a very retro fixie.
Top tube is 56 cm centre to centre.
Seat tube is 56 cm centre to centre.
Stem tube is 13.5 cm.
Stand up height is 80 cm measured from the top of the top tube.
Every part is new there are no recycled parts.
New sealed BB.
New Headset.
Brand new Brooks professional leather saddle in Honey with traditional Brooks saddle fixing. Nut and bolt.
Brand new Brooks leather handle bar tape and bar ends.
New One 2 3 chain set.
New KMC chromed chain.
New MKS pedals.
New 700c Rigida Flyer rims. Not QR to prevent theft!
New Quando wide flange hubs front and rear.
Set up as a single speed but has a flip flop rear hub. 16t.
New 700c x 28 c (but they look slim) nutrok fast rolling tyres.
New tubes.
Acor front brake and lever.
Braided brake cable.
Beautiful stem and handlebars. Very retro.
Lovely headlight. Not a brilliant beam but it looks the part.
This is a fantastic looking 'Fixie'.
No expense has been spared to put this together.
The only optional would be to put another cog on the rear hub to make it a single speed and a rear brake if you do that.
The frame number is: 10957.
The chrome on the frame is pitted in certain areas but as it's original it would seem a shame to have it re-done as it's only like this once.
Collection from the GL5 area of Stroud, Gloucestershire would be preferred but I am prepared to courier the bike for an additional £30 to standard UK post codes. Courier is from 8am to 6pm but they do not specify a time.
