NOW SOLD I've decided to sell my lovely Bicycle Daybook, a 1st Edition this was purchased from a gentleman in the USA some time ago. It is made of high quality velum paper and will take pen or pencil readily.
Smythe sewn binding so will not lose it pages & has its original cover which has faded slightly on the spine due to sunlight, the only damage been to the top end of the cover as shown in the photo.
There are 11 duotone cycling related photographs from 1880 to 1963 including an early tour de France photo.
There is an owner identification page, space for 11 seperate entries with a full page to describe your ride/time/place of departure,destination, companions, eta, actual time of arrival, what to pack, rest stops/lodging & miscellaneous. There are 7 blank pages for notes & sketches per entry more than enough for a full week I would think.
I was going to keep this for a special event but I just can't bring myself to use it.
Maybe someone else will use it for what it was intended.
Price of £13.50 includes insured postage with double board backed padded envelope to ensure safe arrival.
