Old School Hero
1991 Saracen Hydrotech Competition Hydrotech e-stay frame.
17.5in size (I think). ST: 17.5in TT: 21in DT: 23.5in.
Tange eliptical double-butted oversized tubing.
It's in used condition - almost certainly needs a respray - but has all the original decals etc. Frame looks sound.
Has the rear Magura brake attached, but can remove if needs be, also have the front Magura, but no idea on model numbers. Both brakes work fine.
Wheels are black Shimano DX HB-M650 hubs laced to Wolber Saracen-branded hard-anodized 32h rims. Both wheels are true and hubs are smooth, although front is a little rough (I've had it apart and can't see any degradation on the cup or cones). Freewheel is in good condition.
Front rims shows little wear (2 on a scale of 1-10) but rear has a more pronounced Magura-type groove (4/10). Rear hub is spaced for 130mm frame.
Also have a:
Shimano DX chainset (FC-MT60) with 26/36/46 rings. Inner and middle are Shimano, outer unknown. Tapers are still square.
Shimano XT rear mech (RD-M739 - 1996/97?) - jockey wheels run smoothly.
