just got home, drive wasn't too bad to be honest at 'only' 4 and 1/2 hours!
i have to say i was feeling a bit dead today, recently i have been a bit ill so 3 hard rides in 3 days was quite a shock to the system! but i figure it's good training for the IOW this weekend.
i hit the MBR trail, it's quoted at about 1 1/2 to 3 hours, i added one big climb to get a particular descent but then cut out the last climb and descent so finishing in 1hour 27 mins i was quite happy with that. some of the trails on this ride are the same as the dragons back from yesterday but overall this has more technical stuff in a shorter ride. it's a smile factor course that i'd highly recommend that you ride if you haven't already, ideal bike would but full suspension atleast 100mm, today i rode the patriot66, it's currently set up with 130mm front and rear and although a bit sluggish on the climbs (but not horrendous) i deliberately wanted this for the downhills
today was all about the downhills
anyway here's my only pic from today, was having too much fun to want to stop and take more, this particular section is a downhill (bike is turned to get the best angle but suggests it's a climb) and typical of the trail as a whole, rocky! and this is a lesser rocky bit.
